> If a startup found limitations then its a skill issue. "If it didn't work, you must have done it wrong" is maybe the most toxic sentiment in tech and in life. The Agile Coach's mindset.

Hiding blatant fraud behind the label of “convenience”. Every industry. Pay for Amazon prime to get 2 day shipping “for free”. Item arrives in six days. Prime does not get refunded. Pay +10% for “priority” rides in Lyft, supposed to arrive

Investing a lot of time and trying really hard is not the same as adding a lot of value. If your users don't find value in your documentation, saying "But we spent a lot of time on it!" doesn't really change anything. An

Not to say that I believe it happened, but there is a difference between actual cause of death and reported cause of death. As in, just because it was written down that pneumonia and stroke were involved doesn't necessarily make it tru

I have, and I probably will again, but as newsletters have entered the hustle-culture 20-businesses-in-20-days #grind sphere, most of them are sort of pump and dump aggregator nonsense.

If we’re allowed to just say things without any supporting information, then my response is “Scientifically inaccurate”, which holds as much as weight as your “Mathematically accurate” claim :)

Ah yes. As if the nature of employment in 2024 isn't embarrassing enough for our society, the burden of writing an email to notify an employee of the termination of their employment is just too great. We must turn to ChatGPT to write p

No...I don't think this logic really holds... Laws around habitability have nothing to do with price. If you want to make the race to the bottom worse, remove habitability requirements and observe actual dystopia.

To suggest that everyone should be allowed to decide their own situation is either ignorant or dogmatic. Pretending everyone that works from home gets as much done as in person is either ignorant or dogmatic. Context is important. There are
