Yes I think the next step to avoid that is to own your own domain name. If you own your domain name you can have a provider die, and you'll still be able to re import your data on a new provider, assuming you're able to set up a D

I don't think your cellular provider would stop you from accessing ipv4 addresses, it just starts the first hop on ipv6, then tunnels it for you to wherever you're trying to reach. The ultimate goal being decommissioning the tunne

I don't think it should be ISPs that should offer such services. I got bitten once back in the days when I had an AOL email address. Changing ISP then became a complete mess, and unlike changing mobile phone provider you can't por

I can see why the opposite might be valid, if you recently lost someone the last thing you want is argue with Facebook that yes, that loved one is indeed dead. Probably needs some better rules but that part needs to be as painless as possib

That's absolutely correct, my point was that once you've done the math - and assuming you are still paying a mortgage - it should give you a rent high enough such that no-one would agree to take it, unless you are willing to keep

To each network their pros and cons, I think if you look at it from a pirating point of view, torrents seems to tick all the technical boxes. If you talk about it in terms of corporate use / pirating fads / user experience etc. I

Same, I'd much rather it relies on my phone's computation power and act as a display to show the map and blast the music in the speakers. I don't care if the connection is cable, bluetooth wifi etc.
