Insensitivity and oversensitivity can both be inappropriate. It's always safer to be oversensitive than insensitive, though. Wouldn't you agree that becomes a problem when it masks how people actually feel about a subject? Side note: I mo

I wonder how many people are genuinely outraged, and how many are outraged because it is the expected response.

If you're all smiles one moment, and throw a temper tantrum about it the next... then completely forget about it five minutes later... or if you call me 2 weeks later to complain that I smoked at your house... or if you kick me out while so

Turning down apps to maintain quality, I'll give you that (even though there's a lot of room to argue the specifics). Turning down bug fixes for stupid reasons, though? How does that maintain quality, if it takes over a month to push a fix

I strongly disagree, and it's disappointing to see basically a knee-jerk comment at the top. Maybe you should just not put other companies' copyrighted game names in your keywords. These are just some specific parameters to the same scena

A note on price — it is listed at $49.99, which is basically less than 1/2 the price of a graphing calculator with inferior functionality in comparison, which is how the company came to that number. That's a bit disingenuous, considering

I'm in the same situation. I just don't think "decent" is the right way to describe these games.

Those old GIF laden sites were worse than modern MySpace. I disagree. There was a certain innocence and enthusiasm about them that made them almost charming, or at least quaint. MySpace is just... bad taste.

Civ II isn't AAA? Sid Meier is one of the biggest names in gaming. Look, you're taking games that belong on any Top 100 of All Time list, and calling them "decent". What is an exceptional game, then? And the experiences I've gotten out of

One nitpick: when scrolling up and down the page (using either two-finger drag on macbook, or mouse wheel) the scrolling gets "trapped" once the cursor gets over the timeline.

Yes, two dollars, when compared with the value I get out of a decent FPS. The key word in that sentence is "decent", and I don't think it's the word you wanted. Games like Far Cry, TF2, etc., are outliers, they're not "a decent FPS". I d

I've never used one, but I would suspect the biggest value is just having someone confidential and with no conflict of interest that you can just talk to and put your thoughts in order. See also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rubber_duck_de

Can we remove "Ted Dziuba" from the title? It's in the URL right after, anyway. Coming from a random unknown blogger, I doubt this would've made it to the front page. I actually happen to mostly agree with what he says in this post (even t

That's why it's going to be optional. I, for one, can't stand multi-window interfaces (after almost a year of using a Mac, I still find parts of the interface annoying).

I've never liked this argument. Why does it have to be X or Y? How do you propose to make Detroit livable by spending a few billion? Give it to everyone who lives in Detroit? Subsidize unsustainable businesses based in and around Detroit
