Out of curiosity (I haven't purchased ebooks from either source), what makes Apple more reliable than Amazon?

See, here you seem to be generalizing from "my experience with traffic in SF" to "drivers in the US". For what it's worth, I found drivers in the Bay Area to be more timid and hesitant (and therefore more unpredictable) than anywhere else I

Fully agree, and that is my philosophy as well. It's working great since I live on my own and can therefore choose exactly where I want to live, but that is often (usually?) not an option for families.

That's only true for things requiring a physical infrastructure though. For example, Toronto has a reputation for being a hotspot for mobile development, and there are probably as many talented developers as in any other tech hub. But they

You are, perhaps, reading too much into the word "winner" to mean "automatically succeeds" rather than "is unstoppable and bowls over obstacles that would stop most people". Have you never met anyone with an unusually high mix of intelligen

For specialists, sure. But for a GP shouldn't it be essential to be knowledgeable and effective about basic fitness and nutrition? My (relatively uninformed) impression is that studies of fitness and nutrition are surprisingly unsophistica

I understand the argument, but in the absence of any data we'll just be trading anecdotes. Take, for example, The Walking Dead: a purely story-driven single player game that would be the perfect candidate to watch instead of play. I bough
