First of all, thank you. > Usually, at the point of real "burnout" there is no fix except leaving for a different setting for awhile. Still being with my employer causes some real pressure. They don't want to help to fix m

I didn't enjoy anything anymore. I didn't enjoy movies, activities, programming or hobbies. I also slept a lot, like 10+ hours a day. I would just fall asleep while sitting on the couch watching something with the wife. And I just

Great question. My first burnout at this job was caused by exceeding my stress levels for a very long period of time, more than a year. I asked my supervisor to assist me with this. And he kept promising change, but it didn't materiali

I'm currently on sick leave with burnout, for 9 months already... For public health care the waiting lists are at least half a year. Although my employer 'tried' to employ a private psychologist, this has been useless thus fa

No worries. I am glad to answer your questions. First of all, I'm also concerned by legionella growth. However all the sources I can find suggests that at a legionella run above 60 degrees celsius once a week should be enough to kill a

With the amount of paywalls with 'Premium articles' the usefulness of Bugmenot declined IMHO. It sucks, because I used it quite a bit back in the day.

Thanks for this. I didn't know iOS had such an option. I've just tried this setting on my wife's iPhone and it enlarges text and elements quite significantly. However it still doesn't resolve my main issue with Safari. O

I have tried this setting multiple times, but it doesn't do what I expect it to. I just tried it again on my wife's iPhone 12. I set the default page zoom to 200% and opened one of my regular sites (tweakers.net (Dutch)). When ope

Besides opinions; remember that every tool has its uses. You can always cut down a tree with a shotgun, but a saw would be more efficient. Kubernetes is a complex beast, obviously not suitable for every workload and environment. But IMHO it

Yes, with Ansible you would be able to set this up. But with Kubernetes it is basically free. Kubernetes will manage your workloads and if you set up your health checks correctly it will do this for you. Kubernetes is designed for such task

I love the look and feel of macOS and other Apple things, mostly because they just work and seem polished. Also since Apple moved to ARM, I'm having a hard time convincing myself to start something like an Hackintosh. That's why,

Yes. I know of these. Here in the Netherlands those start at about 1000 euro's for a hybrid solution. A full heat pump boiler starts at about 2000 euro's. But you get about 600 euro's subsidy. However, as far as I can tell it
