Counterpoint from roon (OpenAI): last half of this article is poor analysis: - makes assertion that 5.2 token inefficiency ruins long horizon planning? and yet it tops the METR chart for long horizon planning? half baked - counts NP

BlackRock & Wall Street funds/banks pumped Bitcoin for the past couple of years. They slowly started dumping 2 months ago, before the Epstein emails. I'm sure they had no insider information and it's a total coincidence.

Also 2x limits. I think this is to front-run the upcoming Sonnet and DeepSeek model releases. "To celebrate the launch of the Codex app, we doubled all rate limits for paid plans for 2 months! And added access for free/go."

I like to hate on Sam Altman, but this a low effort hit piece. OpenAI has a brilliant team lead by one of the best in the field [1]. The ones who left are all but one not technical people and happened months ago. And the one who left wanted

FWIW, OpenAI Codex is open source and they help other open source projects like OpenCode to integrate their accounts (not just expensive API), unlike Anthropic who blocked it last month and force people to use their closed source CLI.

But there are growing concerns with GTA VI due to almost complete change of the leadership at Rockstar (Dan Houser, producers, writers). I wouldn't bet money on VI being as big of a hit as V or even IV.

I'm not happy with the upcoming techno-feudalism, but a bunch of (mostly) un-elected lawyers and economists have no clue on how to build cloud. And it's not that they want to help EU citizens, they just want to be techno-feudal lo

"The last full, comprehensive audit of Fort Knox's gold reserves was in 1953". This was one of Trump's broken promises. Unless you have physical metal you are just gambling on a videogame playing against the dev studio.

Define a time of the week you fix your notes. Ideally rewrite them frequently to distill what matters. You don't need to do it all at once, just constant progress.

Strongly disagree with this opinion piece. I think Musk/Tesla figured out it is impossible to compete with Chinese manufacturers in the foreseeable future so they are pivoting.
