Nobody wants a damn web view. If I'm clicking off to a link, I may want to click to another app and back in and still be where it was... If it's in a webview that's gone as soon as I click out. Yes, you can open in Chrome or

I don't think the NVIDIA deal is an exclusive one... They can still use TPUs and GPUs and other cloud providers if they like. They may still be planning to.

Regardless of the scaling hypothesis, they need the compute to serve the models at scale.

A few years ago someone showed a BMW concept car with an LCD Panel as the entire body of the vehicle. I called it back then, we're going to need Ad blockers for everything.

I don't think it's that popular to call them clankers. Somebody's trying to make it happen. Like "fetch."

This is great! I love projects like this! I have a hobby of making toy programming languages. (Not arguing that's what yours is.) I once made a compiler, but lately I'm satisfied with making interpreters. Executable asts with mode

Google probably feels they need to implement this restriction because too many people are installing apps that bypass their data collection tools and ad tech. Why they would take such a stance in the middle of an anti-trust litigation is be

This will focus on showing you only personal email. That may be what some people want, but my email is also for receipts from purchases and newsletters I deliberately subscribe to. Filtering out everything with an unsubscribe button is too

It's an instruction following model, not a micro-wikipedia. It's not meant to answer factual questions nor even be general purpose. It's meant to follow instructions and be easy to fine-tune for your own specific use case.

You can be super-human intelligent, and still not have a perfect model of the world.

Those problems aren't just waiting on smarts/intelligence. Those would require experimentation in the real world. You can't solve chemistry by just thinking about it really hard. You still have to do experiments. A super inte

That same function could be fulfilled by better search engines though, even if they don't actually write a plan for you. I think you're right about it being more available now, and perhaps that is a bad thing. But you don't n

I got a notice like this about my credits. It was only $30, so it was a good reason to try out claude code for the first time. I probably would have kept putting it off if I hadn't run into the threat of expiring credits. I know that i

AI is the future, I don't care who is dubious of it. LLMs in their Transformer variations may not survive the long run, but LLMs are not the whole of AI. lets do keep in mind that today's limitations become yesterdays speed bumps.
