This is a great idea, thank you for building it! My wife organises a lot of double elimination tournaments; could you add that as an option? Also, it would be cool to see the live demo tournament populated with matches, so you'd get an

From GitHub page: "We also support background inpainting for better scene generation, but it's currently an experimental feature, which may not work for all scenes. It can be enabled by setting WorldGen(inpaint_bg=True)"

ChatGPT 4o just gave me a reasonable summary of Hamas' founding, the current conflict, and the international response criticising the humanitarian crisis.

Fascinating, thanks for that! Re your addendum and "the end of history": I think it would be myopic for people to think that the current system has won, and that there's nothing left to seek or prove. The current system has b

What the OP article notes, that Wikipedia doesn't, is that Susan Potter was imaged in layers just 63 microns thick, vs 300 for the earlier female donor, and 1000 microns for the male.

They're not as partial and biased as people like to believe. When you read kurzgesagt's reasoned response, and you consider the motivations of the primary accuser, it's a lot less dramatic than you make it sound. Nobody'

Well, the FT article itself says: "The start-up has gained access to state-funded data centres, easing its computing constraints". However they don't provide a source for their claim.

I love this idea; I can no longer justify 40-100 hour playthroughs. Lots of people rave about Elden Ring but the time investment is just really offputting. I'd buy a version of it at half the price and one quarter of the playtime. That

Nice. The noise of the motors makes it feel artificial – which is of course it is, and likely part of the artistic intention, the divorce from nature. A different mood could be induced by piping the synced wind sound into the gallery too; t

No they're right. ChatGPT (and all chargers) responds confidently while making simple errors. Disclaimers upon signup or in tiny corner text are so at odds with the actual chat experience.
