"Compression" and "Encryption" seem like two words I wouldn't expect in the same sentence. Wouldn't you compress the file independently ... regardless of anytype of encryption (homomorphic or not).

Curious to see how this performance against more real world usage of someone taking a photo of text (which the text then becomes slightly blurred) and performing OCR on it. I can't exactly tell if the "Mistral 7B" image is an

Correct me if I’m wrong but wouldn’t this single PhD-level agent be able to be used by everyone in your company. Paying $240k/year for company-wide access (if you’re a Fortune 500 company), isn’t bad.

Isn't it just a "price laddering" strategy. Where you make the prices of a maxed out lower tier product be more expensive than a barebones higher tier, so it incentives you to "ladder up" your product choice. Best e

Apple pricing strategy is a masterclass lesson. For the iPhone, there once was a time that $600 was the cost of the highest end phone. Now Apple has created a pricing architecture (and laddering) where $600 today only gets you the entry le

Most people don't realize that many CxOs have employment contracts with a set term (that has to be renewed), pay schedules and pre-negotiated departure payout. I'm not saying whether or not this payout is right. What I'm sayi

Is this a real problem, or a perceived problem? I know people like to complain about Apple's software quality - but is this actually an issue - or just the popular thing to say?

People sometimes use structs when a class has only public members. And I believe the STL is also implemented that way as well.

CSS for styling is straight forward (which makes sense since ‘CSS’ is cascading ‘styling’ sheets) CSS for layout takes sometime getting use too. For me, the benefit of any css framework is not in prepackaged styles - it’s in simplifying

While I totally agree, OpenBSD has a goal to run on some legacy & esoteric hardware. Hardware that isn’t supported by many of these “newer & safer” languages.
