Holy shit, I didn't think people actually thought these were real after graduating middle school. Do they believe in fairies and elves too?

My arguments are that if that were the case, we'd already be doing it. I work in the optical industry. To suggest that opthalmologists just haven't figured this out yet is just pants on head retarded, sorry.

It's bullshit because there are a ton of reasons why you would need corrective vision. This will work for a small subset but for most will not. And for those who it does help, they'll still need glasses. It's pointless.

Yeah this is what I was trying to explain. PLCs don't exist just to be expensive. They wanted to make hundreds of these and I was to develop a prototype. They also wanted it to be self-servicable. I told them they'd need to employ

Well yeah I mean "Arduino" is just a couple #defines to make a sort of custom C++ version. After a couple months playing with it, most people shouldn't need anything Arduino anymore.

I was offered a controls gig to design a very complicated machine that was to be used by consumers in shopping malls. Many moving parts. Many pinch zones, safety concerns etc. All in all probably 100 drives and maybe double as many sensors.

That doesn't mean that's all that's used. It would also imply that it only has 2 speeds or something. Use your head. Or learn some basic electronics.

I mean there was an article yesterday about people not buying/playing GTA5 because of a 5 minute load time. Commercial web sites lose money when they are down. This is obvious to everyone.

Correct. If anything, Coinbase's value should be tied to the volatility of the crypto market. Doing a quick search of various crypto volatility indexes, this appears to check out, roughly.

Yeah this is a boundary issue, not a "there is too much connection" in the world problem. I don't use any DND or away messaging. I answer when I choose to answer. I don't really get the issue.

There's a massive advantage to steady heat though. Electric turns on and off and induction is a little weird because the pan is the heating element, easy to get too hot. Seriously, find me a chef who prefers electric and I'll eat

My guess is that your GPU is rendering everything. Install the proprietary drivers and enable hybrid graphics mode in the BIOS. Mine was the same way. Nice and quiet now and battery life is nearly twice as good.

I don't think you'll find a single cook who would prefer electric. Literally no one.

On the last flight I was on, the AC service couldn't handle the power draw of my charger. Kept tripping the circuit immediately.

How is it not in a businesses best interest to identify who wants to leave? Are you assuming they'd get fired or something? Maybe they are integral to the company and they'd get a raise or some other perk. Take your tinfoil hat of
