Go on, name one government which isn't. Actually, the UK government isnt being hypocritical, its brazenly up for anything the US instructs it to do. I do wish we would decide if we are a great little country which punches above it size

Tell that to government first. Its government lies... sorry, PR that started this re-defining lark, not us people. We have to discuss these things in their terms now, unfortunately.

Ok, but what about personal responsibility in the real world? There is what we all should have the right to be able to do or , ha, ha, keep private (NSA, etc), and what is prudent or wise. So, to exaggerate to illustrate.... It is a woman&

Where ever it is, there would be local laws. Next, the US reserves the right to prosecute its own citizens even if they commit what the US thinks is a crime in another country, regardless of local law. On top of that, there may be an extradi

This for me is the whole point. Not only regulate, but tax too. I still cant get my head around the idea that government leaves regulation and profits to the black market. Its just makes no sense what so ever.

It really annoys me that people who get things wrong feel the need to delete their post, rather than just reply saying something like, "Ooops, sorry, your right." Why is that so hard?

Having a so called police force like this is societal breakdown. To me, current US policing looks much like how the Brits patrolled Northern Ireland back in the day, with the army. Only thing the US is missing is check points and road blo

In general, I thinking its reasonable to say that regardless of whether or not the accusation turns out to be true, the initial evidence is always weak. It takes time and a drip drip effect until the case becomes true, or not.

I reckon that there must be a lot of writers out there thinking: "Hell, it was meant to be a cautionary tale, not a creepy government manual". Although, I do think that in essence we are seeing nothing new from governments, just n

Using your real name makes the inevitable online abuse harder to take. It feel more real. Using something else makes it seem more abstract, its easier to handle such abuse. I only use my real name when I have to, buying on line and governme
