Yes I have. No I don't. What do you mean by "setup and run"? The work setup is extremely elastic. WP is setup and run. So is a particle accelerator, as is a fridge.

With all due.... You say "SO many reasons", but at best you have 4, of which only one seems to hold any weight. Avoiding PHP is not something the average blogger would care about, bloat = features and most normal people like featu

Its a reason the average person can see value in. Since it's the average person's tax money often funding this stuff, it makes sense that academics try to explain uses that benefit the people paying for it. While I agree that its

"Because Valve's first effort doesn't completely replace a mouse? That seems a bit defeatist." The mouse was patented in 1947. Since then is has not been bettered. Valve are not the first to try.

Hmmmmm. A rant.... This might be culture, or just the people I know, but... There seems to be an expectation that I'm supposed to respond immediately to any call or text, and if I don't, some how I'm an arse. I have a mobile,

"RSS feeder which could take you to their site" So, yes. Click away? Well, people are not doing that. So not much use to the site in question.

You are right, take our fellow man out of the equation, and it all feels very different, regardless off the reasons/excuses given. This is also helps explain why drone attacks (missiles too) to kill terrorists, and so on, are so hated

You could do the same with an RSS feeder which could take you to their site, and thus you contribute. Its you choice. You can help a content provider you clearly value on some level, or actively choose not to. No cost you you either way.

Indeed. I have the theory of middle aged madness. Around that point in life the responsibilities are huge and stress mounts up. Kids, career, mortgage, and so on. Loads of things seems like threats to all that, and the middle aged get all f

From a UK perspective, the problem is that "pants" can be used to say something is rubbish, or similar. We might say "that new Yahoo Mail design is a load of pants". With the Wii example, there is not the same sort of co

Ah, wonderfully divided by a common language!!!! :) "Fanny" is a great cause of transatlantic fun too. And if you are a Brit in the US, never ever say, "Im diving out for a fag". You're gonna get some odd looks.

I would not have said pants to start with, but now its been said, all I can see is pants. [0] Maybe this is more about the power of suggestion 0. UK, where pants is pants and not trousers. ;) Edit: Also, pants is a UK way of saying rubbish.

Given that offence it taken and not given, I think you'd best define "offensive" first. Then decide if you left any room for humor. IMHO, there is humor in weight, gender and race. The point is, is one trying to amuse or deli
