I think you just invoked some variant of Poe's law. Or well, I suppose you invoked Poe's law as applied to flamewars as fundamentalism.

I've been using WF for a long time for a small site. Their resource use limits can be a little stringent at times though. If you keep running into the limits, I heartily suggest looking at switching away from their default stacks (especiall

This is a Flexible Funding campaign, so yes, they'll get the money they've gathered thus far once the campaign ends... But now that you mention it, not sure if that extends to ending a campaign early.

Oof, I have that signal-vs-noise thing all the time, making it very uncomfortable and awkward for me to try to talk to people in loud places, to the point that I've sort of started avoiding it to avoid the awkwardness... Sucks.

Roberto already merged that, I see :) I just made a PR for a pile of changes on top of that. And I'm just a docs guy really, not affiliated with Unbit (the project's main sponsor) at all.

Maybe next time use Python's SimpleHTTPServer (or for a more (empirically) stable experience, node-static) and direct pip to download from there? :)

Hmm, my (admittedly naive) idea would be to render several shots of the product from different quasi-random angles and look at the final entropy/contrastiness of the image to find the most interesting one (the one that captures most detail)

I am not a cryptographer, but looking at a KDB file in git (with xxd in-between), it would _seem_ you're safe (esp. considering pfg's sibling comment). This pattern of differences repeats for all of the 4 commits I tried: http://i.imgur.co

It was actually intuitive to me. But I'm used to interfaces for VSTs (audio generation/effects plugins) that usually have this exact interaction mode. See http://www.protoolerblog.com/wp-content/uploads/screenshot_O... for an example of o

Will numpy actually cleanly install with `pip` or `easy_install` on a system that doesn't have the proper version of Visual Studio? If so, that's news to me.

Yeah, I don't personally use Grove.io, I've just heard of it, but I am active daily on four or five different IRC networks (and tens of channels altogether).

kline (K-line) basically [K]ills a network or IP block, forbidding them from connecting to the IRC server. (I think the term stems from the config files for the original ircd, circa 1988)

This is excellent! Well done. :) I'd consider making it more procedural, to slowly mix and match different sources (akin to ambient-mixer) for a less static experience (that, by side effect, would also happen to be infinitely long).
