It's hard to overstate the value I've gotten out of Freenode IRC over the years. The #postgresql channel is chock-full of contributors and PG gurus willing to generously spend time explaining concepts and best practices. A real ge

Have you experienced any pain-points with Aurora that perhaps you would have avoided by using RDS? We've been thinking of switching over, but some teams reported seeing different performance behavior from their existing queries that in

Was fortunate enough to take Dr. Gupta's undergraduate-level version of this class over a decade ago. To this day I still remember how enjoyable and simple he was able to make this material, despite it being actually somewhat tricky. D

At least based on our IK12/YC experience, it was pretty rare to run into EdTech teams with no classroom experience on their founding team.

Any alternatives to 1Password / LastPass that support Google's SSO? I tried TeamsID before and I was ok but not nearly as feature-full as I was hoping: e.g. no automatic auto-fill on the page you land on, no password generation fo

Agreed. As someone who regularly gets "Linux laptops" for work, their keyboards flex inwards and their touchpads are miserable. I often carry a wireless mouse with me to meetings because using those things ends up being such a pai

Is flowtype actually getting left behind? What's the evidence for that? I'm simply curious because our team heavily invested in it over the past couple of years and I'd love to know ahead of time when it's time to jump s

Would be great to have Lightroom / Photoshop CC work on Ubuntu. Not as interested in Premiere, as DaVinci Resolve comes in a Linux flavor. Also any chance we get solid support for Wacom on there as well?

I've definitely struggled with getting a good bang for my performance buck on the macOS ecosystem for building a video editing or gaming rig. These days you can find a pre-made PC with 32gb RAM, GTX 1070, core i7 and more for $1400, bu

Speaking of Italy, you'd be hard pressed to feel endangered in Rome, Milan, Turin etc. Naples can get a bit sketchy, but even then. Switzerland and Austria also seem pretty relaxed in my experience.
