I get why folks like paper, but I'd lose it, it'd get spilled on (because kids). That, and it's just so easy to get buried in piles of paper… so I do everything digital. I even work to stay as paperless as possible. I'd

What is the actual RDA for Vitamin D? There seems to be some dispute on it. Not sure who to trust.

Thus far, if you've got a YouTube Premium subscription… you've been able to completely avoid the ads. Completely worth the $10/mo, in my book. Does this new policy change that?

One of the things that was a revelation to me about sleep apnea… it's not CAUSED by your weight. Here, I'd been carrying that around for years, and feeling like a failure. I brought it up to my sleep doctor. I said I thought I h

Are they all like this, in that they're easy to exploit and there are high occurrences of fraud? I wonder what would be reliable ways to spend money for advertising, then? I'm new to this, but I was thinking about spending some

Sorry for the rambling... I'm happy to elaborate more, if you like. #4. I was a Business Management major. I learned far more about business by being in business for myself. College tuition for MANY majors is a complete waste of your m

I'm sorry you only asked for a single decision. I'd change multiple things. 1. Bet on myself sooner. Start a business SOONER. 2. Learn how to sell. 3. Study more material that'd help with improving programming skills, rathe

I think it pays to be paranoid with hard drives. They all fail, it's just a matter of when. ASIDE: I wish someone had a calculator for which drives were a good buy right now. They get to a certain point and the bank-for-the-buck ratio

Interesting. I don't see anything about it in the Release Notes, but Help > About Firefox would normally offer the latest update. Mine is saying 77.0.1 is up to date.

Correct me if I'm wrong… but didn't this get resolved in 5.x, and this is referring to an old version? I was forced to update to 5.x at one point, so it seems like this is old news.

1. I do a lot of shopping on Amazon. Look for "Grifiti" brand. 8" pad for use with the mouse, 17" pad for use with the keyboard. I use them all the time, even before I got the treadmill. Don't skimp on what you need

I use one, and HIGHLY recommend it over just standing still. My theory is that standing still and sitting still are opposite sides of the same problem. (not enough movement) They just affect different parts of the body. Moving > standing

And if you really seriously MUST have this optimization you're after… Gentoo or LFS are probably better suited for the job. Again, that's a lot of time to waste for very little ROI.

In my opinion you're wasting your time. The Ubuntu kernel is very modular to begin with and only needed functionality for the hardware you're booting on is going to load anyways. Just use the stock config and do your Docker work a

I struggle with this lack of focus, and overwhelm, as well. I am reading a book that I'd like to recommend. It's called Deep Work, by Cal Newport.

The obsession with Snap stuff is not winning friends and influencing people, either. Installing stock apps via snaps and auto-updating them (whether you want to or not) doesn't give folks warm fuzzies.
