I didn't mean they aren't, but said not as much as TSMC. TSMC has already announced US, Japan new Fabs and China fab expension. They are also discussing with Germany and India govt.

I wonder why samsung/other companies are not investing much in new Fab. There are so many Fabs planned in other parts of world but almost all by TSMC.

Hopefully their discussion to setup plant in India also materialise. Considering they are going for 22nm is Japan India also will get something similar.

AMD,Nvidia and Qualcomm chips are made in Taiwan/Korea. For future Intel also is moving to TSMC Taiwan. These chips are not cheap by anyway, US has lost advanced chipmaking ground

It great to see RISC-V making a lot of progress. A lot of research is coming from China because of US bans, but hopefully this will be good for whole world.

Vscode is more than suitable for big projects, Its not just for hello world projects. VSCode is best tool for TypeScript/JavaScript/Dart. For Java/C# it probably is not.

Prices are increasing in approach you mentioned also. Coming to proprietary parts, there are so many public listed companies strong in open source like Redhat,

There are positive sides also. They will have more money for R&D and probably can launch more products.

Yes it does, ARM provides great performance even at very low power consumption but x86 can't. That's the reason x86 failed for mobile devices.

I see Qualcomm to be a better competitor to Apple. They already have experience building custom cores and NUVIA acquisition should help with performance. x86(Even Ryzen) is hardly as power efficient as ARM.

Typescript was largely inspired by C#. Because of Angular following OOPS patterns it is relatively popular in C# developers. In pure front end developer land Angular is quite behind React in popularity.

I don't know where the author lives but I haven't seem that everyone claim to know Angular. Quite the contrary everyone claim to know React. Yes Angular is not great and most people know it. I just see almost all new applications

I really wish flutter to succeed on Desktop. It checks most of the points. 1. Modern reactive API like React 2. Better rendering performance than electron 3. Interoperable API between web/mobile/desktop
