It's not obvious to me that your assessment is even close to accurate, so it would help to know more about which countries you've observed and also where can we find data on this topic. My observation would be more like: there are

Expertise grows with that exposure. You are learning to recognize and appreciate particular aspects, and those aspects can be tweaked by an AI artist. Appreciation grows even deeper when you know something about techniques, theory, contexts

“ And as the PM, at a minimum you should commit to making some progress on at least one of those top-two issues every quarter or two.” Thinking from the client-facing side, this would HAVE to be progress on BOTH items EVERY quarter or it’s

A 27” inch CRT had fallen in price to about $300 15 years ago or so. Then the flatscreens came and the price pressure cycle had to start over again.

Exactly. This also reminds about what I call early childhood induced PTSD; it comes from the constant interruption and lack of sleep and endless dirty work. One's brain does not come out of that the same way it went in.

If I had started younger, I would've tried for 4 kids instead of 2. I was 33 and 36 at my childrens' births. I would definitely do it younger if I had it to do over because now I want as much time with them as possible and would l

Ages 1-4 were absolutely brutal for me. I'd do it again, but I'd go in giving up any pretense that I was going to maintain anything like a life. I was an at-home parent for those years, and really struggled having no escape from i

Why do men choose to and why are they allowed to do all those things differently? The reason is gender roles, that’s part of the equal pay discussion. Probably the biggest part, in fact. The “multi-variable” is no answer at all. Each of tho

I hope so, but I'm more sure that claiming progressives are trying to deny nature altogether is a useful straw-man for detractors with evidence only from the fringes. But how could you and I be more sure of what's really going on?

All this back-and-forth about whether and how it's nature or nurture. The point of modern gender freedom is not to deny there is a strong nature influence, it's to nurture kids to go whichever directions they like. All these anecd
