I've been looking for a reader the last couple days and Feedly actually seems the best option. Most RSS readers don't allow you to save articles for later and put them in your feed. Pocket and Instapaper do this but require you to

That cable only shows power draw not bandwidth. And I'm not aware of a cable that does show bandwidth.

It's not a new chip, it's the same RP2040 chip with a Cypress (now Infineon) CYW43439 WiFi controller. Which isn't available to buy in single quantities at costs $4.55 if you buy a reel of 5,000. So unfortunately it doesn

It's not just that fragmentation results in lack of polish. Having many distros means that when I want to figure out how to do something obscure, or encounter an issue, there's less likely to be someone on my distro with the same

Yeah fair. But I think that any gc language for microcontrollers should have a couple features: 1) A compiler flag or similar optional static check that throws a warning if you have dynamic memory allocation. In scripting languages it can b

Intel 10th gen mobile and 11th gen mobile and desktop, excluding Pentium and Celeron, have AVX-512. And all 12th gen have it on the P cores but not the E cores. If the E cores are enabled then AVX-512 is unavailable.

I don't want shares of a speculative solar startup, I want a safe solar investment with predictable returns. If a company goes bankrupt then shares go to zero, the assets are sold, and the proceeds split between everyone they owe money

Element for me occasionally says it can't decrypt my group chat messages. It doesn't exactly hold your hand through the setup, one of my non techie friends had to ask what to do. Logging in on new devices is needlessly complicated

Publishing schematics doesn't mean publishing the PCB design, which is where most of the work is. If you wanted to clone Framework you could just as easily grab the leaked schematic for any other Intel laptop, they're all function

Having a translation layer means you can have a stable API that the compilers can target (the ISA) and then be able to make breaking changes to the microcode API every processor generation to improve performance.

Drones are vulnerable because they have to transmit a video feed over many miles for a remote operator to be able to control them. And the enemy can easily detect that, and then launch a missile that homes in on that signal. That's why

I've seen a trend in popular open source hobby electronics projects in the last year developing progressive web apps to replace their native apps, enabled by the addition of WebSerial in Chrome/Firefox. For example, ESC-Configurat

I have two APs in my house and get zero reception in the bathroom that's next to one of the APs because of the tiled lath and plaster walls. Same with the kitchen in my grandparents house.
