My (possibly misunderstood to the point of misphrasing) understanding, is that SAML still has the point-of-difference that your sso provider can cancel a session. Is that right?

Holy hell, burn it with fire. No offence intended to the author, it's probably coded fine. But when your shell scripts get too complex, the answer is not 'wrap them in a Turing-complete yaml+jinja DSL'.

You'd probably be able to tell me if using Lambda for my backend is gonna be closest to, $2, $20, or $200 / month, right?

You would probably see a bunch of blog posts about 'how we saved 3000% of our SRE time by switching from Go to NodeJS'. Have you seen many of those? Aside from this it's probably quite difficult to measure! Sure there are a b

The pandas mypy stubs attempt to address this to some extent, but to be honest.. It's really painful. Not helped by pandas' hodgepodge API design to be fair, but i think even a perfect API would still be annoying to statically typ

After being a Linux user for 10 years, the one thing I still miss from Windows is the ubiquity of tabbing around dialogues - this is still only at about 80% in day to day Linux stuff, which is enough to make it not something I use for a pri
