I’m confused because can already do this on MacOS, Windows and Linux Does `podman machine init` not work in FreeBSD? In those other platforms it will spin a small Linux VM to run containers on.

I am not sure the incentives are aligned. those people fixing the roads are incentivized to do the work cheaply so they can skim more “off the top” And you still need to fight corruption to some level or it will come to a point where there’

I have never heard of nor seen AWS student accounts. There is a free tier but that varies per service and anyway will not limit anything. It works as if it just gives you some credit to offset the costs.
