That's because corporations seem to feel less and less responsibility about the employees they hire. When a company treats you only as good as they have to, you're only going to put in as much effort as it takes to not get fired.

Yes, comparing raw medal counts across sports doesn't make too much sense. You can only win 1 medal in curling, 2 in volleyball (indoor and beach), a handful in gymnastics (individual events), and a crapload in swimming. Then again, looking

Sorry, I don't know much about the innards of routing hardware. I do know that doing all the routing in a time equal to the propagation delay of the light is pretty damn impressive to me.

An interesting fact that we teach in 6.033 is that of the Boston<->San Francisco packet round trip time, half of that time is spent by light propagating through fiber, and half of it is spent in routers. Cisco makes some amazing pro

Also, iPod stands for the same thing across its product range -- an MP3 like any other company might make, but more stylish, more trendy, and easier to use. In fact that's what the Apple brand stands for as a whole. What does Eee stand for

Mailbox stuffing is a great idea for me actually. I walk every day past roughly 100 mailboxes and would stuff a sheet of paper in each for 1 cent if I could do it without slowing down.
