Except you still need a fast bus for the CPUs to talk to each other and to access shared memory. So for all but the most embarrassingly parallel workloads, you just move the bottleneck from the memory bus to the shared cache bus, do you not

Unfortunately, bleed-free won't save you from the exhaust that other planes are producing. Breathing exhaust-filled airport air can be a substantial chunk of the time spent on a short trip. Also, I don't know if I've ever exp

Thanks for the link. I developed the annotation+decorator-based type checker in https://github.com/kislyuk/ensure before I saw typecheck-decorator (which looks like it has some cool features). One thing I'm proud

Few companies have poisoned the well as thoroughly as OCZ has, by treating their customers and investors as utterly disposable. There are a lot of people out there who won't forget what they did. Toshiba would do well to retire the bra

I'd say heavy-handed urban freeway construction is all the more unfortunate, even tragic in how it caused the pendulum to swing too far the other way, resulting in the current culture of nimbyism and reign of misguided anti-development

There is still a delta between how unicode behaves on 2 and how str behaves on 3, for example. In general, you'll be fine as long as you have a test suite that runs in CI for both 2 and 3 - to catch incompatibilities early.

This and the "great TLD expansion" in general seems like a great way for ICANN to make itself irrelevant. People will just stop trusting TLDs they don't recognize.
