Really? I've got a few cheap sensors and while they're not always accurate in an absolute sense they are in an directional sense. It's extremely evident for Windows opened if someone is cooking if I turn on an air purifier, e

It's cute but unless you really need the size+ onboard screen, I don't see the big win of this over an Apollo air-1. (Esphome based, easy HA integration. Or an inkbird - I paid $99 for one with co2, HCHO, AQI, PM2.5 PM10, TVOC, T

Super easy, use esphome. There's a few vendors out there that sell pre built devices, and they usually make their configs available if you want to DIY it. For example Apollo automation.

I find a big difference between running my desktop at 60 HZ versus 144 HZ in how smooth the mouse moves and how easy it is to click on a small area of the screen with fast mouse movement.

Switching to a Svalboard has made a big difference for me. It took me a few years before finding this keyboard. The magnetic breakaway keys make it significantly gentler on my fingers than anything else I've tried. It's similar to

Do you have a good way to run multiple versions of office? I do sometimes need some of the newer features but I'd like to default to using the older versions.

Listary has slowed down tremendously ever since they included search. For a launcher I'm still using "find as run robot", which truly is a 90s era piece of softer but works blazingly fast. I do have a plug-in to tie it into s

I'd like more details on your home assistant setup as I'm trying to optimize mine. Btw, you can use $5 LYWSD03MMC thermometers with ble or zigbee.

Nice to see more high quality indoor light options. Any idea how you guys compare to this one? https://getchroma.co/products/skylight . I've got some of their other products - I'm generally been pretty happy w

Use the Android pebble app "Notification Center" and it should be able to do that for you. (Notification Center gives you extreme amounts of control over what to send to the watch how it gets displayed, etc. It's the reason I

The pebble time round was the stylish version of the Pebble Time, you lost battery life and a smaller display but you got a significantly thinner sleeker watch. I daily drive the pebble time, but wear my round for dates or when I want to be

To be fair the Pebble "proprietary cable" is simply applying five volt voltage to the back of the watch. I'm definitely ended up on vacation without the cable and just cut the ends off a USB cable to charge my watch.
