I suspect that this is true, although in my view religious conversion is not very different from changing your clothes. Neither, in and of itself, affects how good of a person you are.

That's the point. He won't even know if or how many sales he makes. Yet, he perseveres. Don't like what he's selling but props to his enthusiasm.

It's true, here's a more accurate statement: In my opinion, hard evidence of the utility of my product outweighs hard evidence, if any, of the utility of (at least) his brand of religion. As to the fact that his belief drives him to stand

It is somewhat sad how transparent your bias is. You seem to be painting all low cost private schools with the same brush as institutions where the rote learning of religious texts is the main goal by calling it "the Wahhabi road of teachin

It is true in transportation. That's what my startup does. More respect - oh yes. More money - we think so. The early signs are good. More low hanging fruit in terms of satisfaction or directly helping your users improve their life - most d

This seems to be the approach du jour to 'curing information overload', but a recommendation system typically manifests itself as yet another information source. In my experience, they always exacerbate the problem.

This is especially true in Google's case, since there's no shortage of candidates willing to wait. This is the key reason it works for Google. I really like Google's products and hope that y'all continue doing the kind of work that has ma
