I think that all comp sci students should begin by learning to become competent in C. Aside from having the widest support across platforms, and being syntactically similar to many other languages, it's the closest you can get to understand

I'm confused. You say you support reforming healthcare by reducing the role of government, but what exactly do you mean by this? Reducing medicare? medicaid (although that is more of a state run program)? Perhaps you could enlighten me by s

Since "Programming Praxis" is not a registered trademark then it would likely be a long and costly battle to legally force The Daily WTF to cease using it. (Common Law trademarks do have rights, but it's not nearly as clear cut). That said,

To be honest I'm not really sure what the fuss is about. There is no personally identifying information (such as an ID, phone-number, account no etc) transmitted and it pales in comparison to what a phone company has access to, even before

To be honest I just don't understand why Mobiegame didn't just change the name and have done with it. With all sales they lost after the app had to be removed, and how widely reported any name change would likely to have been, it seems like

Once upon a time a Hungarian chap named Simonyi invented a system of prefixing variables with letters to describe their type. This was actually a very good idea since at the time computer programs were rapidly growing in size and complexity

If there was a point to be gleamed I think it's more that planning should drive your goals, not planning just for the sake of having a plan. Guess what: "Dive in and feel the vibe" is still a plan.
