Off topic, but why would you put "html { -webkit-text-size-adjust: none }" in your CSS? Not everyone has great eyesight, and I happen to like being able to zoom in and actually read.

Couldn't you build it into the minifier rather than polluting the original source?

I'd suggest that if you need to document where is throwing the exception, you're doing too much work in the test. Setup code should be pretty simple and stable, so should very rarely suddenly start throwing new exceptions. If you need to pi

Did you already open the link before that screenshot? The script the OP uses replaces the href, so once you click it, it'll reflect the true destination. As others have mentioned, you can get around that by doing a redirect and cancelling t

In the short term, it means designers can prototype a lot quicker, which should mean even if you never use a 3D printer or anything printed from one, you get better designed products.

I'd argue it's not so much about skeuomorphism as much as it is about affordance. They don't look like you can push them and interact with them, which means you need to be much more careful about the context and design language you use them

It's perfectly possible to have a dynamic type system with closed objects (can't add properties). Then again it's not really possible to have a static type system with open objects (at least, I can't think how you would).

Your tests should be picking the majority of your algorithmic and functional errors, so I'd have to assume you're talking about the state of the code before thorough testing. What's it like after that testing? How's the long term maintainab

The the core of it for me is you can almost always do x under a particular static type system. But you can almost always do the same thing under /any/ dynamic type system.

The type system in TypeScript isn't 'rigid'. It's both optional and structural. These combine to make it a heck of a lot more lightweight than something like C++ or Java. The classes in TypeScript are a formalisation of a very common design

Monads are a general concept that happen to be a handy way to wrap up IO and protect Haskell from the ugliness of its impure nature. At its core, monads have nothing to do with IO and are used in a lot of non-IO situations. I'd recommend Go

It's not so much arbitrary as an exception. "The RHS is evaluated and assigned to the LHS, except in this edge case". Using a different syntax would be just as arbitrary, but less of an exception e.g. val, ok := <- ch, val := <~ ch
