Seems like HN is slowly split between “ai sucks” and everyone else who is slowly discovering what it can do, while Twitter is leagues ahead using other tools to build stuff.

No. My entire office is Linux and macOS. Not a single windows machine. Mixture of people using VS Code and Rider. No issues building and deploying to Linux. We pay for rider. Pay nothing for vscode.

Select by id is fast. If you’re using it as a cache and not doing select by id then it’s not a cache.

Microsoft is not to blame for Linux’s abysmal battery lift. Linux has never ever had good battery life. It’s the only issue preventing me from replacing my MacBook.
