If you’re thinking, you don’t even need to be at the computer. I can’t speak for others, but I keep my hands on the keyboard a lot of the time because I’m reading . As a (neo)vim geek, the key is to be really good at moving through the co

I couldn’t get that to work. So annotate, and with Lou t doing anything else, just cmd-c?

Weird. I don't use Spaces (this is the multiple desktops thing, right?) but I've just tried it and it's not laggy at all for me. I turn on the reduce motion thing, so it fades between them rather than swiping, but neither fee

This is a reasonable way of dealing with it. I've just created the dock folder and now it's a lot easier to get to (except that I have dock as minimal as possible, so it's still a little fiddly). It does feel like just hittin

You say share as needed, but I’ve not found a great way to just grab it to the clipboard or get the file handle from there. My go to workaround is to screenshot, annotate, screenshot the annotation tool into clipboard and paste that. (I kno

Yup, it’s definitely not a money thing. There’s plenty of tooling I do pay for, but I like hacking on my editor. Sure, you need to go deep sometimes to tune things how you want, but hey, that’s what we do, right? The important point is th

That’s what struck me too. What about the others involved who might be relying on it? But maybe the author was the team and without them it was dead in the water anyway?

If you want more nuggets from this poster, I suggest reading his games programming book. It’s light reading (but full of great concepts and explanations) that I personally read outside my 9-5 for pleasure. https://gameprogramming

Yup. We have a lot of complex dependencies so a couple of us got M1s so we could charge into it headfirst to get it sorted. It wasn’t too bad. We had a couple of 3rd party things stuck on x86 so we emulated them on qemu within the vm. Slow,

You can do both of those things with Tailwind. Put the css only components at the bottom and use them in your main component if you want. Break the classes over multiple lines if you want. The difference between your 2 examples is that TW a

This is all so played out now. People that haven't used Tailwind come along and say, "this is silly, just use css". The people who have used it say, "you should try it, it's not what you think." There are a bun

Oooo. That’s an interesting idea. Being able to toggle className to be `className=“…”` in vim. Would be interesting to see what an experience of being able to toggle between classless and class-only jsx looked like.

If you’re statically hosting on s3 then that isn’t an option while also supporting tls. You need something in front. You can go the cloudfront route but last time I looked it was all a bit of a pain. Cloudflare takes minutes to set up and t
