If you woke up tomorrow and the clearing price for gas was $10/gallon it would still be accurate to call it a shortage. I can buy a crappy house for $2m tomorrow, it’s still a housing shortage.

This is what I want too, driving 15 min manually in the city doesn't bother me or tire me out at all, I just want to watch TV when driving straight on the interstate for 300 miles.

This is nonsense, ~zero rich people in third world send their kids to study in Shanghai instead of Boston or immigrate to Beijing instead of NYC to park their capital. In fact it’s the rich Chinese who continue to move to Vancouver and Lond

They don’t want to give these powers to a large number of customer service reps who can be bribed or coerced or socially engineered into transferring accounts to bad guys. Look what happened to the mobile carriers and sim-jacking.

In Canada you cannot get subsidized student loans if your parents’ income is too high. You can’t get student loans at all unless they co-sign. If they don’t want to pay and you want to go to school you have to cut off communication and conv

The wait time for medical procedures is extremely long in places with price caps. It does not work “extremely well” at all, it results in shortages and wait times exactly as you would expect from economics 101. I’m speaking from personal ex

The lockdown is causing deaths too which also need to be considered. We shut down cancer screening and gyms for 3 months in Ontario; that’s almost certainly going to kill more people than COVID did.
