Too broad; Asperger's is also considered an EF disorder. While there are many similarities (people in support groups for either tend to call the other "cousins") they are very different in presentation. Yes, it is an EF diso

Sounds like you have a LAN problem. AC66U, iPhone/iPad/MBP, ATV 3, gigabit LAN, and a 12/1 connection and I stream like a stream (Internet, AirPlay, whatever).

backupsy.com provides low-power VPSes with 250GB of storage. Perfect for this. I may get a second one just for Arq...

Duh? Who really thought Twitter would suddenly become profitable after the IPO? The VCs cashed out and walked away laughing at the imploding building. THERE (STILL) IS NO PROFIT MODEL.

Close, but not entirely. Those still have some kind of library or runtime you have to be aware of, and require you to use a specific language. This is more like Parrot or the JVM, but designed with a browser in mind instead of an OS.

No. You still have a Javascript and HTML/DOM engine in the browser. I'm suggesting the browser could be a kind of runtime environment a la JVM, not a combination of a compiler/interpreter and a platform.

You'd think so, but they take 2-10s to recover from a photo and you ... don't. Clearly there's some room for optimization there. :)

Well, I did four last time ... and selected from four offers. Learn iOS. Live in a tech city. Eat three meals a day. (Which is to say, that's a comment on the market, not me.)

The difference between a service run by MBAs and a service run by sysadmins, all wrapped up nicely in a message.

You presume the app sent it and not their servers or a partner service provider. They already grab your address book, including phone numbers. They don't need you after that.

When designing a new system-wide architecture like a new storage subsystem, edge cases matter. A lot. I'd call it, at best, an oversight in the design phase of CS-WDE and, at worst, incompetence.

Can't safe boot with a Filevault 2 boot disk. Thanks, Apple! You get to decrypt the disk, safe boot, verify fix, then re-encrypt the disk. Apparently the boot loader can't pass a boot variable down after the transfer or something? Anyone
