Local pizza is more like 100x better. I couldn't even finish a slice of Dominos, at least the one I ordered from on the west side of Cleveland. I've had better frozen pizza. I don't get who's ordering it. It's not e

Dominos put more money into their ordering system bells and whistles than the actual food, if you can call it food. I couldn't even finish a slice it was so bad.

For me, and especially because I work remotely, it's because there's no central gathering place. Schools and colleges make it easy to find friends. Work a little less so, but I still managed to have a lot of friends there as well.

I've been in #7 (perpetual crisis) a few times. Eventually, it's like the boy who cried wolf and you start tuning it out. I was a contractor, luckily, so it was easier to ignore than a full-time employee. Companies try to trap you

I haven't, but I recommended it to one of the devs and he claimed it 'crashed' docker. Need more investigation, but we shouldn't need tools like this; it should work by default.

A few things to note: I wasn't using Docker for Mac, but a custom VirtualBox setup that took over a month to perfect. When I last tested Docker for Mac, the networking was really slow then, but I took a gamble that it had been fixed by

Docker still has a long way to go in terms of local development ergonomics. Recently, I finally had my chance to on board a bunch of new devs and have them create their local environment using Docker Compose (we're working on a pretty

When are we going to reach the point that home theaters -- as in, covering your entire living room wall -- become economical? That's my dream.

Netlify is wonderful. I never thought to check if they dogfood their product, though. Sometimes, resources are allocated to new features and site redesign/restructuring work gets pushed to the back burner.

I can't tell if you're being serious, but will the costs to the taxpayer and possible unintended consequences and invariable corruption be worth it to add more layers of government to our slowly eroding free interactions? Since th

It may be simplistic, but I believe if you've done the time, you should not have a criminal record hanging over your head when trying to find employment. For a third or fourth time offender, I may give pause, though.

ChainCoin has no value proposition, nothing to differentiate it, and the dev team abandoned it a long time ago, so why would anyone purchase this crypto? It's the same with stocks; you have to be able to understand the financials, prod

You named a few Google products to be contrarian and think that Google is far from indispensable? I'm calling bullshit because I'm willing to bet most of the non-Google products you use use Google somewhere in the chain.

They can't justify the cost. I wouldn't want them to, anyway. It would mean fewer improvements for their non-crippled site as resources are diverted for the sliver of people who like to be contrarian.
