Well, they're just conceptual entities, they don't actually exist in reality, like numbers. People make them up, other people confuse them reality, and then you have major problems, like nationalism.

And why should we trust bureaucrats to do this? Won't they just sell their political power? Who will regulate the regulators? And who will regulate those regulators? I don't think you've proposed a real solution.

I wouldn't publish JS code in CoffeeScript, but for proprietary projects, especially Rails, I'd use CoffeeScript, HAML, and also, indented Sass. Coming from a different background, I was pretty resistant at first, but I think deve

It must be nice to have no valuable skills to offer society yet still find employment as an authoritarian jackass dreaming up product features without doing the actual work or assuming any of the risk. If Leno wants to add features to cell

You can easily get around that by using `display: table` and `display: table-cell` So you have your semantic HTML elements, if you're into that sort of thing, and flexible layout options, like `vertical-align: middle`.

The main issue I have with Grunt and other frameworks/build tools is plugin authoring. Can't we just put this stuff in Make files and be done with it? I know, I know, Windows. But it seems like an awful lot of time is wasted build

It's not difficult, but quite a few developers I've worked with were unaware of that algorithm, which is one reason I think they pushed it into the UI.

I think it's one of those things where convenience for those looking at the underlying data has bled over into the UI. While you can deduce the type from the number, it's not easy for humans to do that at glance while looking over

Love the Sass port. My one complaint with Bootstrap is that its grid system uses float instead of inline-block. Is it easy to use a different grid system with Bootstrap without breaking its other components?

I agree with what you're saying. I just wouldn't follow this dogmatically. To me it boils down to what's DRY, maintainable, and easy to refactor. I do use more abstract class names that have no presentational meaning, but tha
