Does anyone have an idea what kind of platform they're going to require for developers to use? Will it be flash (hopefully not), Javascript?

I use Grooveshark when I know what I want to listen to, otherwise there is a great service called The Hype Machine at hypem.com which is an excellent source of new and upcoming electronic/rap/dance/indie music

Color's service would be a killer feature for Google+. Color is an excellent idea assuming that there are users who are willing to post pictures and share location data. Unfortunately for Color, it will be a long hard road to get these us

You could make an exception for .jpg and .png and only hash the part to the left of the dot otherwise hash the whole thing!

Now that Facebook actually has something to worry about slightly, it's kind of cool watching Facebook and Google both scramble to win over the users with these awesome A+ features one after another.

It wouldn't be unreasonable to say that programming IS taking a trend towards mostly web development. Of course there will always be non-webdev programming, but it certainly is becoming more ubiquitous.

That's a relief. I went to the comments first to see if the article was worth my time, but because of the title, I was under the idea that we were all going to die in 10 years.

Posts from groups that I'm a part of do show up in my main feed. Maybe you need to tweak some settings here or there?

Regarding ls -lR, why not save the hassle of saving output to a file, and just pipe it to less instead? `ls -lR | less` Also I'd highly recommend installing ack-grep for searching instead of using grep -R.

One thing I can think of is picking a date to golf on should probably be a calendar with a AM/PM toggle next to it. It's a bit hard to grok by glancing at it right now.

I'm not sure if I'm being naive, but does the '|' and the '-' have some sort of NLP significance? From the article, what's the difference between "data |" and "data -" ?

While I don't really think this is enough compensation for the losses incurred on the users, I think that most people were expecting nothing and will be very happy with a free 30 days and a free game (or discount, or whatever). I think mos

I think that the prestige associated with chess is appropriate. It's quite a difficult to play and there really is no entertainment value to the game outside of the gameplay itself. Why would you say that its prestige has nothing to do wi

I don't think that CS should be included in a high school curriculum. Programming is a valuable skill, sure, but I don't think that it will be applicable to 95% of students. There are such a broad range of jobs in the world, and very, ver
