You are quite right it is not just compilation that sets Python apart from C++, that was a bit of a simplification on my part. There is also tools such as Cython and numba (JIT) which use various techniques to compile Python code btw. But I

I'm always proud of the UK government web services. A lot of work is done to make high quality accessible tools to explain: the law, regulations, health (nhs website), travel guidelines, tax services, etc. Related to this post, the EU

I don't know what it is, but somehow paying even a penny for wi-fi hotspots is incomprehensible by my brain. It could be a 16-hour flight to Australia, and still my brain would be saying no. Then I would order a $10 coffee and tell mys

I really liked how the page tells you the size it is planning to download, and prompts you before downloading. Coming from a limited bandwidth contract, I hate when I click a link and it instantly starts downloading a huge file. Great work

Some people will disagree with me, but you might enjoy the "save and load when you lose a fight" play-style. I played RimWorld that way and I had a thoroughly fun experience learning the tech-tree. It's arguably not the way t

Improved medical diagnoses are useful. Cars that drive themselves are useful. Improved inventory tracking is useful. Improved fraud detection is useful. Those are a very very minor subset of the vast array of real-world AI use cases. Edit t

I have noticed this as well, GPT "corrected" a bug which wasn't actually a bug, and wrote some alternative code. After a bit of back-and-forth, I convinced GPT that the original code did not have a bug. GPT then told me that
