I'm disappointed that sexysheep.com is just a domain parking page. I'm not sure what I was hoping for, but I think that's the worst possible outcome.

This is just another form of stigma. Better to go without getting treated for mental health issues, or that very responsible decision to seek treatment will be used against you later. See also the jump seat pilot who tried to pull the fire

I run postfix in a receive-only mode to power inbound email processing. I'm very very glad there's no database requirement. It just passes the processing of inbound emails to a filter over stdin, which can do whatever it wants wit

I agree with you on a few points: 1. Stable power grids are much easier with a mix of generation sources that includes substantial rotating mass and baseload generators. 2. Nuclear is awesome from a climate change and energy security point

Absolutely horrifying. I've come to believe that criminal punishment is simply unethical. I wish someone would come up with a better option.

This seems like it would be easy to structurally solve - big tech could make strategic partnerships with 5 to 10 year horizons with the very fabs in question. If they promised to spend a flat or growing $X on silicon (without easy contract

Ah yeah I saw that, I was just curious which particular mini-PC you were using. I was considering picking up one of the various AI Max 395 boxes before the RAMpocalypse but didn't take the plunge. Thanks for the response!

IMO, modern sensors paired with robot controlled guns are one of the most promising hard kill solutions for drone combat. Gepard and the newer Skyranger 30 have proven themselves against low-spec threats in Ukraine. C-RAM (aka Land Phalanx

I think the insight is that you need a high-low mix. Some threats call for top of the line capabilities (like early days of the Iran conflict with stand-off munitions and top-spec interceptors being used against Shahed drones and cheap crui
