We do this kinda thing with Sketch and iOS for all assets (including app icons). We also do font styling, colors, gradients etc from Sketch to a styling plist. Kinda annoying to set up, but it's a godsend for styling updates and whitel

I've done an experiment recently, inspired by the macstories.net guy (@viticci) who spent 1 year only using an iPad Pro. I have an iPad Air 1 (so, much slower than the 2017 iPads and iPad Pros). It has mainly been used as a test device

His point about React Native at the end is very reductive. As an experienced (6+ years) iOS developer, my experience putting together a dual platform app in React Native has been very positive. For the majority of content driven apps, it se

Don't be so sure. Layers of middle management, all with their own (often selfish) priorities between you and other teams working on systems you need to collaborate with will destroy any possibility of agility.

Apple do this with their frameworks now with Swift 3, for these very reasons (strong typing + advanced IDE). There's no need to encode parameter names into the function definitions anymore, unless they're core data types. So now y
