Ah. It weakens my point, but I'll say it anyway: you do need to be able to tell the difference between good and bad responses to use it to make you more efficient. I definitely wouldn't use it blindly for things I don't know

I use "something like this" (GPT4) all the time. Use a good model. Can't wait till proper open source models catch up, but they're not there yet. Here's GPT4's response: ``` import math def clamped_tanh(x, n_te

I have access to it through Azure. First you need to get approved for OpenAI access via Azure Cognitive Services: https://customervoice.microsoft.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?... Then you need to get approved for GPT4:

The author says that the builders of these systems are also the ones that run the scam. And they deliberately build it in a fashion that enables the scam. Seriously? This is a gripe with sales and marketing. A tale as old as time.

Great idea. But does it get hard to navigate back to something in older chat histories though? I find a new separate chat with the revised initial prompt to be easier.

The article shows everything that works for this approach. But it's a bit disingenuous. At the end: > Once this is working, Xu Hao can repeat the process for the rest of the tasks in the master plan. No, he can't. After that m

Interesting they're allowed to use stackexchange. I don't know much about the legalities of scraping. Was this an agreement between them, or is it simply ok to scrape and use the data in a model?

Both GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 versions of ChatGPT are limited to 4k tokens, even though GPT-4 is capable of 32k. This leads me to believe that part of the reason for some of the mediocre results OP saw was because they hit the token limit and Chat

Try bing instead. ChatGPT is good at a lot of things, but searching the web is not one of them. That's why bing uses it for the natural language and contextual conversation aspects, supplementing it with traditional web search.
