In my case executives were more focussed on how it could be built into new projects, presales etc rather than internal efficiency improvements. A lot of people were amazed to see someone getting value out of it (efficiency gains) without bu

From the time of this post, Reddit has been having issues for 59 mins. It's currently down, saying their CDN is having issues reaching their servers.

BASIC defaults to the tape device if you leave off the device number in LOAD/SAVE commands. So you can save another byte or two by saving to tape instead.

I appreciate your point, and it's horrifying. I still wonder how many coding questions, stack overflow posts, comments on tech blogs etc just naturally have better responses to polite and clear discourse? SO is heavily moderated, and I

I know, I said: > I'm not saying scrum and agile achieve the above. Companies abuse scrum to try and achieve the last 2 objectives. Sprints become commitments, sprints are planned out in advance, story points become days etc

What's the alternative, where devs are motivated and productive, the team can react to the market quickly, and the business can rely on delivery dates for commercial and marketing? I'm not saying scrum and agile achieve the above.

I'm pretty sure OP was asking about the end user use cases. But I appreciate your reply because I'm developing a product and this made something click for me about letting users integrate with other things with minimal effort.

Looks amazing and incredibly smart. But I found the LOC and implementation time comparisons to Twitter and Threads very disingenuous. It makes me wonder what other wool will be pulled over our eyes with Rama in future (or important real wor

I was hoping this would be a way to train an LLM that somehow knew when to seek out external knowledge and when not to. I guess this is a pretty unsolvable problem with current architectures. There's just no concrete "confidence&q

I had a similar impression. I also thought as you move into executive leadership things get much more strategic and you're rarely the one executing. But they list out lots of tactical experience and qualities that they say make them a

Sure, generally speaking. Is that true for static, fixed parameter count LLMs like GPT4? I think you're hand waving a lot just to claim that OpenAI are (somehow) reducing accuracy of their models during high load. And I'm not sure

Except when you test that something is *not* an instance of something else and the test wrongly passes. Then you'll be scratching your head trying to fix a bug already in production.

I've found you still can't rely on LLMs to do anything 100% correct without human oversight. Unless you spend a lot of time prompt engineering and testing. Even then you might not get as close to 100% as you'd like. But as yo

Think of it like traditional code completion. It's mostly wrong but still useful. You either type through it, or tab/arrow to select the correct completion. AI code completion (like Github Copilot) is like this. Still a time saver

I'm starting to think that we need to think about prompt injection the same as prompt leaking: it's inevitable, and you have to build your feature in a way so it doesn't matter. So basically, tell your users that this is &quo
