Because all the import * as Foo from "foo" produce the same singleton with shared state. What I would like is something like function(param1, param2){ return module Name { import {param1} from super; export

> It’s even less of a great idea when you consider that modules exist. Add a variable without marking it for export and you’re good to go. Javascript modules do not work particularly well as namespaces.

The author is not interested in writing proxy code, their interest is to allow other to use their classes together with libraries that happen to use proxies.

Dynamic api discovery is useful when you are traversing complex linked data from a service. For example https://jsonapi.org/format/ focuses on traversal of relations. If you are doing RPC-on-HTTP then it is a bad idea.

It is more like saying 1/∞ = 0. "Translations are rotations around infinity" is what you get if you compactify the real plane with projective geometry, 1/∞ = 0 is what you get when you close the complex field with an hol

After using moonshine MongoDB pipelines I would say that it is a fantastic model. You can sort of already do this in SQL with CTE* but a nice pipeline syntax would be welcome. * Actually I believe that you can do more with CTE as you can mi

True, but the point of giving a "value" to 0/0 is to use it somehow. For example in the context of limits you define a whole lot of number like values like 0+ or 0- that are useful wrt operations on limits. I was trying to g

In the syntax `a < b < c` both the `<` are different operators than the `<` in `a < b`. It is more similar to the ternary operator `a ? b : c`. It could also just be a type error: `<` takes two integers and produces a bool

For all the good properties that a free market has it is not a stable property game-theory wise. Unless a god-emperor intervenes to prevent (natural) monopolies and unfair competition free markets are bound to degenerate at least a bit.
