Seems like any company you would potentially work for that is turned off by the fact you testified against a former employer who was BREAKING THE LAW...probably isn't the type of place you should be working. Right?

I want something with printable "zines" with recommendations for places to eat, sleep, and visit. Like this, but printable and free : http://www.telescopecards.com/ I like to travel without my "devices"

True story, haha. I also remember used to be that "Hacker" in the programming context was looked down upon. Meaning, you had no idea what you were doing (you were a "hack") or you were up to no good (black hat).

Gotta wonder - why is it so many programmers (myself included) have these same problems?

I feel like I don't have time to predict the future - too busy pushing things into production... I've worked with many future predictors though and it's absolutely horrible. Always behind schedule, always seemingly off-task,

Is there a reason you want to work on an open source project? If you're a beginner, why not start your own project based on something you personally need?

If you guys can pull this off - and it actually WORKS - I'll be so excited, I can't even tell you.

This is super common amongst film photographers - it's a wet scan. Works wonders. Some of the fanciest "drum" scanners out there work this way exclusively.

Dude. It's "you're welcome" not "your welcome" (in reference to the screenshot on this page)

No pics of the product, not even a prototype? EDIT : nevermind, just noticed this "Currently we are accepting pre-signups based on the demand we decide if we will go further and bring this product to life."

If the issue is that you just don't want a "career" - that's easy to solve. Just get whatever job you can get, try it for a bit, then quit and move onto the next. Who cares if oil rigs are shutting down, go get a job the

Something I'd be really interested in that adds to this is : How do you find someone to shoot/produce your video?

It's weird right? The rest of the world, the people who will be paying you money or helping you solve your problem, don't always operate in the same closed off world of email-only communication. In my work experience : Phone call

This should be a lesson at all "coding bootcamps" - learn to pick up the phone and talk to people.

Nice, thanks for the example. A couple issues I noticed - in Chrome, on my laptop, I cannot scroll down on overflow text pages...also, the hamburger menu isn't clickable - it triggers a page turn. The design is slick as hell though.

I just spend a couple minutes on the site - and I have no idea what it does. After reading the FAQ I kinda get it...but it would be EXTREMELY helpful to show some sort of example. That said, I totally get that it's a work in progress

Agreed. From what I read, career counselors (maybe others) are pretty horrible at managing expectations. The fact that you nailed a well paying job out of college should be considered a blessing/miracle/massive gift...not a burden

There is a lot of back story you aren't aware of. This is not an "if" it's a "when". They have been in bed together for years now. This is coming from someone who works specifically in the Vacation Rental indus
