Not gonna lie. This perspective leaves a very bad taste in my mouth. Why do you think engineers don't or shouldn't fix things? Isn't the very idea of designing a system: solving a problem, and isn't problem solving synon

Like pure math? Engineering? Study it in school? There are a lot of linear problems that I'm interested in. Do you use a computer algebra system? Do you have a few books?

I don't follow. I meant why not leverage fragmentation at the routing+transport protocol layer if configs can be controlled to support it and not drop fragmented packets. What advantage is there doing it at the application layer? I

Why do it at the high level if the protocol supports it? Especially in an automotive system where you don't need to worry about rogue configurations as much.

Your hands get raw after washing too much. Wrapping things up is a natural progression from constant hand washing.

I'm not sure what "dirty" is, but a major reason for Western cleanliness was Florence Nightingale, a pioneer of medicine and statistics: Washing of hands wasn't a big thing before her. https://en.m.wikipedia.o

While not a certification, I find my Amateur Radio License to be one of my most valuable credentials besides my degrees. 1. This credential actually gives you a huge amount of privilege to use restricted radio spectra. 2. It teaches you a l

I'm aware, I have two M1s, but I had a static issue on my wired headphones at one point, and I fixed it with proper grounding. Though I can't remember if it was my old Intel Mac, or one if the newer M1s. I haven't used the wi

I think I got it working today. Not sure what I was doing wrong before. Also, you I recommend that you add the capability to pull different hunks out of the commit, and separate/unsquash them, or even move them to different branches. T

To ameliorate your fear, a practical and potentially effective solution may be wearing a retroreflector, or some sort of light-based signalling device that would make it much more clear that you should not be run over.

Wouldn't a fair amount of the thermal energy be hanging out in the bonds themselves? The stress in the system has to count for something. I'm imagining a bunch of potential energy being stored in the fields at any given moment.
