I've been getting the same thing since 2019 from time to time. I had Covid several times as well. I'm getting better, but I feel like I relapse occasionally. Extra sleep seems to help me a lot.

When I worked with embedded systems, I used both, and didn't really understand the differences and nuances between them, and now I wish I did.

You are correct, my emacs locks up constantly. Mostly due to linting and syntax highlighting, but also with the emacs terminal. It really depends on the package, but too many fundamental packages are still operating in the main event loop.

Google deserves the criticism it gets, but I'm also skeptical about this. That being said I also think "autopilot" is a perfectly fine name for Tesla's self driving feature.

Why did you switch to tmux? It seems to me that screen is more ubiquitous, and has more features. Having a modem is a pretty handy thing built into it.

Why don't we build a portable numeric system that just has these mathematical constants and definitions built in, in a portable and performance manner?

In this example a person is looking at code they can't legally copy, learning from it, and re-implementing the same functionality. I thought this is what patents protected, not copyright.

Maybe the protocol could have arbitration built in? If one was clever you could actually have the front of the packet set a priority header, and build the collision detection/avoidance right into the header. Multiple parties communicat

You're right, my bad. I was thinking back to when Rich Hickey talked about how he wishes he could go back and bake transducers into the core of Clojure. I can't find the reference right now though. Might be a good Clojure 2.0 thin

This article does a good job laying the foundation of why I think homiconic languages are so important, and doing AI in languages that aren't, are doomed to stagnation in the long term. The acrobatics that Wolfram can do with the code

HR is definitely in charge of pay structure , at least where I have managed. You could argue with them, but it was a monumental effort to get them to do a market study, and they still wouldn't drop degree requirements for some of our b

Cold air holds less water than dry, AC is great for drying, also saunas are super dry. Heating up ACed air would be ultra dry. You mean that the wet rainy Seattle weather combined with jungle like south east make a bad moisture combo, rig
