Journals wouldn't accept generated PDFs? This genuinely shocking to me. Is this prelevant in all fields?

This is completely non-malicious: why are you writing papers in Word instead of more advanced typesetting tools like LaTeX?

Something to consider: you only hear from those startups that move to Go. You don't see startups making blog posts talking about how they're staying with Java or C# or C++ or Python (you sometimes do, but posts like that are prett

Indeed, every compiler is a transpiler: it transpiles into asm. But not every transpiler is a compiler in the truest sense of the term. IMO only transpiling to machine language qualifies as compiling. But we're just arguing about seman

It has to be dynamically generated because I don't control the content. Also, having the markdown makes it easier to edit and update. Maybe I should look into serving both the markdown AND the HTML.

This is really useful, thanks! Is there a subset of markdown (preferably with an implementation in Javascript to render it as HTML) that's limited to just the basic stuff like bold, underline, italics, links, quotes, and code elements?

If I had a penny for every notetaking app, I'd invest that money in another notetaking app. Jokes aside, this looks nice! Especially good to see that native C++ development (even if it's in Qt) isn't dead.

Even at 1x, the bug is present. Even still, 10x should give me $21.00, right?

The Leverage dropdown? I'm not sure what that is, but I've tried all four values (1, 2, 5, 10) and they all produce the same bug for me.

There's a bug: when I "invested" $1k and sold it at a +0.21% profit, I made $210 instead of $2.10 (basically, they forgot to divide 0.21% by 100 to get a multiplier; if only real-life was this easy haha) :D

You could place a market order: buy at the lowest sell price in the order book. It's usually very close to the last trade price, making it a pretty decent approximation.

I can talk about my experience writing such a tool during my internship at a bank that rhymes with Oldman Bachs. Bear in mind, this wasn't my original project; since I had finished my first project, I was allowed to work on something e

This is probably the easiest problem to solve. Hosting a GoogleSpeedTestBot in every city with the sole purpose of speed testing a page would have laughably negligible impact on Google's resources.
