I wonder how well this translates to the readability of white text in dark background to dark text in a light background that we see in text editors. Which one is better for the eyes?

2FA is just something you know and something you have. I have a Yubikey with a RSA authorisation key (+enc and signing keys too, but that's irrelevant) in it that I've hooked ssh-agent and GPG to. It is the only key accepted by my

And when was that? The 2000-2010 era where everything you clicked added a layer to your Internet Explorer addons list? Or the 2010-2014 era where everything required Java and Flash enabled by default, ridden with zero day exploits? Or the 2

I chuckled when I saw the copyright. What exactly are they copyrighting? Lorem ipsum? The bloody emdash itself? Even I exercised more caution when I was 12 and learning HTML, arbitrarily applying copyright to things I didn't own.

On a desktop, auto redirecting to old.reddit.com, with all custom subreddit CSS disabled, chat turned off, RES enabled and uBlock Origin installed is the only usable way to browse Reddit. For a website that I spend ungodly amounts of time i

I have the Ryzen 5 PRO 3500U (4c8t) with integrated Vega 8. I haven't done any under/overclocking or anything special, it's a pretty vanilla machine. I've only swapped out the NVMe drive it came with for a Samsung one.

It is. I never hear the fan running. But annoyingly, they've put the fan vent on the right side of the machine, so every now and then I can feel the hot air from the vent when my mouse is close to it, but I never hear it. Even in the q

Similarly, I can vouch for the T495s' sturdiness. The whole thing genuinely feels like a slab of solid rock (but is still lightweight); I can't quantify how robust this thing is, but Lenovo guarantees that every T495s has been thr

I use a T495s with the 400-nit low power display and it is by far the best screen I've ever seen on a laptop. I have no idea what you're talking about; of course, if you go with the 1366x768 screen that Lenovo seems to continue to

I take it upon myself to install uBlock Origin in every computer I get my hands on. After letting the owner know, of course, but I practically force it on them. And I don't feel any shame in doing this.

We don't need quantum computers to be at microprocessor scale to make 2048-bit RSA factoring groundbreaking. If a quantum computer the size of a car can do it in 8 hours, it's sufficient.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding this, but this doesn't solve the problem at all -- returning within the block statement wouldn't call the deferred expression, which is entirely the point of a defer statement, no? If control is g

I don't want to accuse anyone of astroturfing, but the comments in this thread seem to be eerily positive and very marketing-y. Maybe it's my skepticism of everything crypto-related being incredibly biased one way or another.

Yes, nearly all of /r/jailbreak is running iOS 12.x or lower. Specifically, practically no one there has updated to 12.4.1, which fixes Pwn20wnd's exploit.
