Not the GP but I just read it, and I feel like he hit the nail on the head of the smug style. I happen to identify with many of the things he mentioned. It left me at a loss about where to go forward, though. I hold it close to my core that

Honestly, I'm still a fan. He, unlike most other models, gave Trump a healthy shot and cautioned repeatedly that a large polling miss was possible this year. That's pretty much what happened.

I, like many, did not see this coming and I am truly afraid for the future of the USA. We sure showed up Brexit, though.

I get your point about internet connected light bulbs, but is there a particular reason you selected incandescents over other more energy efficient bulbs that don't have IoT capabilities?

Not the OP but vim in VS Code is good enough for me. There are some quirks that have slowed me down compared to pure command line vim, but I've been fine taking small vim-specific productivity hits by relearning a few shortcuts (changi

I agree. It seems that Lamb advertising that he's installing equipment to look for ~3-5kcarat diamonds is signaling 'just wait, this 1100 carat diamond is gonna be yesterday's news soon.' The expectation that supply will
