   It seems you really don't need speed. Actually you should not use sport car if you don't need to move really fast. But if you ever need it FPGA instance it is not so expensive as you think https://aws.amazon.com/ec

   Because custom algorithm on FPGA for each job will work faster than ASIC with universal algorithm. Make custom ASIC with non universal algorithm is too expensive.

   If you really need speed you should use FPGA.
