If history has shown anything, then that smart people wont refuse to work under such a system. There is always someone who is willing to do the job and more importantly, as soon as the system is established, rewards for good work will drive

But the way to "share" information this way is to just send it to someone else. You could instead just send a text file or an image, it's the same (except, you could actually encrypt it). After all this is exactly as censorsh

Well, that’s in part a point for the batteries, though. You spend a lot of energy to lift all that fuel that you just blow out with all its potential energy up in the air, whilst the batteries provide you with that very potential energy on

I'd be seriously interested in why this is downvoted so much... I thought, the documentary was quite intresting and balanced.

Usually it is the other way round: you miss what you had somewhere else and learned to love. When you go back it hurts. Try a 800x600 monitor nowadays and you will cringe. For me after using functional constructs a lot I find myself wishing

Assuming Hong Kong is indeed tightening its grip on the people and accepting more influence from Beijing, I wonder if that was a smart move. I mean, Hong Kong is a cash cow for China and an innovation driver. It foots on lots of trade and i

I wonder why so many articles today have so many words but yet so little content? This one has a mile-long introduction. The headlines question could have been answered in rather few words. I feel a short answer had satisfied me. To make it

I think it is worrying that some types of facts sometimes appear to be left out or be misrepresented seemingly willingly to produce a certain image. That's not what I expect from good news reporting. As an example take the 1.7% interse

Well, in a performance point of view it is a fact that women perform 10-12% worse then men (from the article) in certain disciplines. The genders are quite measurable not equal in this metric.

I guess yes, but I would suggest to you to use a plugin like umatrix as I think it is more likely to catch unknown rogue player's actions. If in doubt, use both, it doesn't hurt that much but benefits a lot.

The BBC reported though, that he claimed to have captured video of the victim which, to me, sounds like exposing their usage of porn in a very personal way. Comparing this headline to buzzfeed is not justified imho.

I would say, that rather is an advantage, not a disadvantage. It is good to know after all that /something/ happened so you know that a page might be broken in some way instead of it failing silently behind your back.

To claim it is insured by the SIPC when it is not is just false advertising (or big time incompetence). It's not a good game to play if you will get sued for it.

Just you don't know which judge you will end up with before you got sued... Might be tricky to know all the quirks of all the judges and then also predict which ones will be relevant, no?
