I must be missing something, all I'm seeing on Mastodon is people talking about Mastodon and Musk and Twitter. Its even more insufferable than the twitter discourse right now.

This is alright, I like the category breakdown, it makes browsing great, but its still subject to what _youtube_ considers good content. Which just results in the top content being short-form videos which provide quick-facts, not something

Pretty much! As engineers we all sweat sleepless nights mulling over five 9's and we conflate these valid business needs with our hobbies and personal art/projects. It doesn't have to be this way! Put it on a pi and have fun,

To be fair, the article talks about none of that and focuses on the high-level traders perspective. I'd bet that a write up of the process of the merge would be a huge hit on HN.

I did the vue 3 bump a while back and Evan You did a fantastic commit by commit repo to follow along and there's even a migration build of vue 2 which warns you of all the areas where your app will break in vue 3, really fantastic. I c

I'm with the author here, I've had this conversation with the other devs on my team a few times and each time it lands on 404 if there's no data.. Its just not as useful as the dev who makes the client side applications. Its
