Stop trying to spin it Apple's illegal behavior. The change was clearly unnecessary because once they rolled it back the phones kept on functioning just fine. Modern hardware can and should last ten years. Accept no excuses.

Sure would! I think it would be marginally better, in fact, because you would just need to look at the index rather than five tables. Access would be more local.
