There is a case that it should have moved to the side, as a default. There’s more horizontal space than vertical space on every display. So if you need to put something somewhere, put it where you have extra room.

My old Macbook, has 2x2.2 GHz 64-bit procs and one of the OG Intel SSDs to replace the HDD – given it’s only sata3 but I have a suspicion it’s still good. I think I actually will revive it this weekend just to see for myself, all else fails

I used to play (a lot of) tf2 and back then it was always better to bootcamp into windows to play. There were much better ways to strip down / “game mode” windows (7?), control overclock and fans, and have bleeding edge graphics driver

The dock is per-process because there are options to quit the program on the menu. I suppose they could switch it to close window and change to quit on the last window, but Mac users are very used to the way it is. There should be an icon
